Blacksmithing is one of the most interesting traditional crafts for me. Their craft knowledge blacksmiths pass from generation to generation, probably for 4000 years. It is told that even the Greek god Hephaestus was the master of this craft. Blacksmiths' hands created fine jewelry for women and men as if from nothing, forged various household tools, and decorated wooden crosses tops. They could also make a farmer’s life easier (making agricultural implements/tools, farriery). The honorable craft of blacksmithing is also alive today. But to tell the truth, blacksmiths are no longer counted in thousands or hundreds, but only in tens. I am glad to be acquainted with some of these respectable men and be able to collaborate with them. We perfectly complement each other. Forged metal goes well with the old oak wood.
